Becoming a UN Women UK Delegate for CSW67

I am honored and overjoyed to share the exciting news that I have been selected as a delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) with the United Nations Women UK. As a lifelong advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment through my platform @birthofchoice, this opportunity to participate in the annual gathering of Member States at the United Nations is a dream come true.

This year's theme for CSW67 is "Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls". In a world where women face multiple barriers to full and equal participation in society, the importance of leveraging innovation and technology to advance gender equality and empower women and girls cannot be overstated.

This year's CSW67 theme couldn't be more timely or relevant. Technology is advancing at a breakneck speed, and we are increasingly seeing its transformative impact on society, economies, and industries. Women, however, are not always included in this growth and often face barriers in accessing and benefiting from technology.

Through my participation in CSW67, I am looking forward to being part of a dynamic and diverse community of advocates, leaders, and changemakers who are dedicated to advancing gender equality and women's empowerment. I am eager to participate in critical conversations, exchange ideas and best practices, and collaborate with passionate and like-minded individuals to drive positive change for women and girls globally.

As a delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women, I am committed to working towards creating a world where all women have the opportunity to thrive and fulfill their potential, free from discrimination and oppression. I am grateful for the support of the United Nations Women UK and am proud to join forces with them and their partners in this essential work.

I am excited to embark on this journey, knowing that it is a tremendous privilege and a great responsibility. I am determined to make the most of this opportunity to contribute my voice, expertise, and energy towards advancing gender equality and women's empowerment, both locally and globally.
