My Day in London visiting the Independent & 5News

As an advocate for refugee rights, it's always been important to me to use my platform to raise awareness about the issues that refugees face. So when I had the opportunity to meet journalist Nadine White at the Independent HQ in London, it was a dream come true. Not only is she a talented journalist, but she's also one of my personal inspirations.

During our meeting, we talked about the events that had taken place in the past year, and I couldn't help but feel emotional and reflective. It was a surreal experience to sit and chat with someone who shares my passion for advocating for marginalized communities. We shared laughter and tears, and I can't wait for you to read the article that Nadine is writing about my work with refugees. It's going to be an important read for anyone who wants to learn more about the challenges that refugees face.

After my meeting with Nadine, I headed over to 5 News where I was a guest on their show. We talked about the discrimination faced by black and brown people when trying to leave Ukraine and the challenges that students are facing a year later. It was an honor to be able to use my platform to discuss these important issues and raise awareness about the struggles that so many people are facing.

One of the highlights of my time at 5 News was getting to meet Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije. She's absolutely beautiful and kind, and she made the experience even more special. It's always great to meet people who share your passion for creating positive change in the world.

Reflecting on my day in London, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities that I've had to use my platform to raise awareness about important issues. It was an unforgettable experience to meet Nadine White and to be a guest on 5 News, and I'm looking forward to using these experiences to continue advocating for refugees and marginalized communities.

It's easy to get caught up in the mundane tasks of our daily lives, but it's important to take a step back and appreciate moments like these. It's a reminder that there's a bigger world out there, and we can make a difference in it. Meeting inspiring personalities, having meaningful conversations, and exchanging ideas are all part of the journey.
